Just back from a 4-day workshop — sorry for the late update.

A lot of people asked me secrets to making money online and I must say the most powerful secret to making money online is really setting up goals.

I am a believer of goal-setting and I strongly recommend all of you who are reading this set up goals. I’ve seen a lot of young marketers spend away money to buy that new iPod or car but never really know how to deal with their own finances.

Not long ago, I learned a powerful goal-setting method that Frank Kern taught in San Diego workshop and right now, I want to share with all of you here. This is a kind of a practical exercise and I want all of you to grab a pen and paper.

Next, you will need to write.

First of all, you need to list down the goals in your life. List down what you want in your life. Something that can be purchased by money. It could be charity, education, car, house, my private coaching and perhaps fancy designer clothings.

Next, write down the values of the things you want in your life beside them. Be specific. If you listed a new car, try to be specific on what type of car and how much. Right in Malaysia, a BMW 7 Series will cost RM700,000 or $200,000 after tax.

Then, what you need to do is to sum all of them up.

Don’t get too worry if the number is too small or too big. Just sum it up and don’t be shy to use a calculator.

Then, take that amount (I assume it’s a huge amount) and divide it by 365 days.

Now, you will know how much you will need to make to achieve your dreams.

Mine is around $1,300+. And right now I am making around $500+ a day on average. I am nowhere near my target of $1,300+ yet — but at least I know how much I need to improve to reach my goals.

Challenge yourself to see if you can reach your target amount to make in a day within 365 days.
